My apologies for the time to respond. Sadly, I haven’t had much time to investigate further.
I have now built an openwrt image for my WR902AC V3 with Eric’s patch for the 10Base-t operation. I now have an image working (with LUCI) but the Linn is still refusing to connect using 10Base-t. My laptop works fine at 10Base-t with the new image. More work to do to understand what is going on.
