How the CYLD05F is used:
Inline in the Ethernet connection (e.g. Router → CYLD05F → Switch/Streamer)
Sometimes treated as a “drain” or grounding/noise-drain device
Using the shortest possible Ethernet cable after the device on the receiving side
What users subjectively report:
Lower perceived noise floor
Smoother or softer highs
Slightly more clarity/detail
Improved spatial presentation
