Hello Eric,I
am glad to have a few positive comments about this. The Shunyata LAN cable I use is a Sigma V1, which I have owned for many years – it has two CM chokes. When I was at the very beginning of checking out ethernet performance, I found it made a huge positive impact and actually justified its high price, at least for me.I
did experiment with WiFi using Netgear Orbi satellites some time ago, but I was not happy with the stability and so I did not pursue it further. Maybe I will check this route again at some point. I did have very good results with using fibre optics between a cascade of modified Cisco Meraki M220 switches, which were placed between the router and the streamer. I thought I was finished with that implementation but surprisingly I could still hear differences in the upstream „dirty“ side router and modem, even though the fibre supposedly blocked any CM noise. It led me to pursue some experiments to improve the very beginning of the chain prior to fibre conversion, and I thought a DSL throttle would be a good place to start.

Not sure if there is any interest for a separate thread for DSL, but I would be happy to participate if there is.
