Hi Eric ,
I did built the V3 ethernet cable and I am using it between my HNE switch and the streamer .
The result is excellent with a very clear upgrade in sound quality .
Thank you for your excellent work as well as the measurement which shows the benefit on unwanted noise . This V3 cable is much better than some very expensive ethernet cable !
Since the result was so good I decided to built a second V3 cable between my server and switch . Again it was a clear reduction in unwanted noise with a noticeable improvement in sound quality .
I have built additional V3 cables with same results for several friends .
I have been experimenting also with the TP link 902 . I did get good results ( silence ) but the PRAT what less exciting than with my normal switch solution .
I want to explore further the TP link 902 and experiment with the 3.3 volt LIFEPO4 PSU . However I would like to avoid the expense of the Ian Canada board for a simple trial .
I do intend to use a set of 4 LIFEPO4 batteries set up in parallel . They will be directly connected to the TP link without any regulation board .
However since fully charge the LIFEPO4 output 3.6 V is it a problem to do that ? Do I can destroy the TP link with this 3.6 V ?
Thank’s for your help .
Jean-Michel
