Eric, Several of us from the WhatsBestForum have tried to install the minimal WRT image on our 902 routers, but with no success here either.  I tried to implement the „mininal“ image on three different routers and the firmware is now broken on each of them.  I cannot reinstall the original TP Link firmware on those routers, nor can I install the „complete“ WRT image.

I have a Macbook and I am using PumpKin, and on one occasion I was able to transfer the minimal image but then the SSH could not make a connection to my router.  That is furthest point I have been able to go in the process, but unfrotunately, the firmware on that router is now broken too.

Is there an intermediate solution between the „complete“ WRT image and the „minimal“ one that does no involve the complex process of the SSH steps?
