Could you post pictures showing exactly which points to desolder to discard the original switching regulator on a V4? Also, where did you purchase the LT3045 linear regulator? Just to be absolutely certain… Once the regulators have been swapped, the original factory installed power port can be used as long as the new power supply is 3.3v, correct?
