    I dove right in yesterday and purchased two of the WR902ACs with the goal of running one as a client and the other as a repeater. I was only able to set up the client last night though. My network is as follows:

    Modem -> Orbi Router -> M12 switch -> tempus switch -> Muon Pro -> Streamer

    The modem, Orbi Router, and tempus switch run off linear power supplies all connected to a Bluetti AC200P battery, and the M12 is connected directly to an AC outlet of the Bluetti AC200P battery but still with a switching power supply.

    With the WR902AC powered directly from a DC outlet of the Bluetti AC200P Battery in the chain as below:

    Modem -> Orbi Router <-  wifi -> M12 switch -> tempus switch -> Muon Pro -> Streamer

    Initially, more details were apparent. I was hearing more reverb trails so more of the room. At the same time everything seemed softer, and less airy – a weird combo as if underpowered, but still an overall improvement. I suspected I had one too many devices coming off the Bluetti, or maybe its DC output was simply not up to scratch.

    To further experiment, taking inspiration from use cases on here, I then attached my Anker power Bank 20000mAh to the WR902AC. Wow, wow, wow. Everything was better than I was getting prior. Spaciousness, insight, delicacy, more thereness.

    I can’t wait for more listening tonight. In the meantime, my mind is in overdrive mulling over what to address next.

    I see folks on here using a second WR902AC as a repeater – is it worth a try?

    I’m of course going to do the 3.3v mod once I can convince a more technical friend to work on it for me

    Throttle cabling is also in my future.

    Thanks to Eric for spearheading things, and thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences. This has been eye opening, and I look forward to eventually eliminating as many expensive components as possible from my chain
